Join the team!

IC Change is a volunteer-led campaign for the UK Government to ratify the Istanbul Convention on violence against women. We’re looking for creative individuals passionate about addressing the issue of violence against women to join our team. Could you be one of them?

There are so many ways to volunteer with IC Change to secure a life-saving law for women and girls. You might find yourself designing and delivering effective campaign tactics, mobilising supporters to take action, creating engaging social media content, writing policy briefings, engaging parliamentarians, speaking at events or coordinating joint actions for organisations across the women’s sector and even having fun in the process!

About the team

We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment.

However you identify and whatever your experience so far, please apply if you see a position that excites you. Come join us and help us build a team we’re all proud to belong to. Confidence can sometimes hold us back from applying for a volunteering opportunity, but for us there is no ‘perfect’ candidate. We are a passionate team of volunteers who are learning a lot of what we do as we go. A commitment to learning and growing is far more important than previous experience so please apply if you see a role that motivates you.

We keep each other updated on our capacity but it is OK to say if you need to step back when you are busy or have other priorities. As a team we put our well-being first and seek to support each other.
  • Making the most of your skills: We want you to get the most out of being part of the campaign and to make the most of your amazing skills so if there is anything we can do to adapt the way we work to support this, then we would love to know and will do our best to make it happen.
  • Creating an inclusive team: We want to make sure everyone has what they need to participate. Please let us know your accessibility requirements (if you are comfortable to do so) and we will do our best to accommodate.
  • Location: Home-based / remote (we are dotted all over the world at times!) but occasionally we meet up in London and/or Oxford for meetings and social gatherings.
