National Domestic Violence Helpline
The 24/7 freephone National Domestic Violence Helpline, run by Women’s Aid and Refuge, can provide confidential support, help and information for women experiencing domestic abuse, or others calling on their behalf, from anywhere in the UK. The Helpline is staffed 24 hours a day by fully trained female helpline support workers and volunteers. They can also point you towards domestic abuse organisations in your area. Translation facilities for callers whose first language is not English, and a service for callers who are deaf or hard of hearing are available.

Action on Elder Abuse Helpline
Action on Elder Abuse gives confidential advice and information to older people who are suffering from violence or abuse. A relative or friend of the person being abused can also contact the helpline on behalf of the older person.
